No: The TB skin test contains some proteins that are derived from killed TB bug, so there are no live bugs involved. You may have acquired an intercurrent illness at the time of testing.

Unlikely: I have seen PPD skin tests be markedly positive causing arm pain and swelling and needing topical corticosteroid cream treatment. I have not seen fever and nausia from a ppd.
