Can taking sleep medication help relax my legs at night?

Be cautious: Restless legs are common during pregnancy. We really don't know why it happens, and it can be annoying. I wouldn't use anything stronger than a Benadryl (diphenhydramine) on a routine basis for sleep.

Sleep Specialist: One possibility is a condition called restless leg syndrome. An overnight sleep test can determine this and/or other conditions that may be at play. A sleep specialist can then diagnose and recommend the right treatment for you.
