No: Autism is usually diagnosed by around age 2-4 years. Most children receive the bulk of their childhood vaccinations during the first 4 years of life. This is a case of guilt by association. Autism has a variety of causes but most experts do not believe it is caused or activated by vaccinations. You should always discuss risks and benefits associated with vaccinations with your child's provider.

False associations : The vaccine haters have tried to link shots to crib death, cerebral palsy & now autism over the past 30 yrs. Each time the science & biology have proven them wrong. The british doc who claimed MMR triggered cases lost his license when his fraudulent research was exposed. Autism is emerging as a gene linked defect & future research may point to its origin, but it has found no link to vaccines.
