A member asked:

How can a doctor know what is causing your headaches just by doing an mri?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe not: An MRI looks for an anatomic abnormality that may be causing a headache. Most of the time the cause of a headache cannot be found. But it tells the doctor that there is no tumor, etc.
