End of the vagina: Inside the vagina at the bottom of the uterus is the opening to the uterus called the cervix. Women are at risk for this cancer once sexually active and the reason for recommendation of pap smears to catch abnormal cervix cells. Human papilloma virus increases this risk and is spread between men and women. The stage and age will guide if surgery or radiation is used to cure. Chemo for high stage.
