TB infection: Tb infection spreads through droplets coughed out by a person already infected. People in infected persons surroundings inhale those droplets & develop infection in their lungs. It can be contained at that stage by your body's immunity (latent tb) or develop an active infection with risk of spread within the lungs & to other organs in your body. Effective treatments are available to eliminate it.
