Coccyx: The coccyx is the name given to the very very end of the spine. Sometimes this area is referred to as the tailbone. A coccyx disorder can be the result of prolonged pressure resulting in a breakdown in the skin and creating an open wound. This is known as a pressure sore or bed sore.
