A member asked:

What are some other alternative ways to lower bp?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lifestyle: Regular, substantial exercise and a low-sodium diet. It's important to be carefully monitored of course because if these do not work you may still require meds. For exceptionally severe hbp there is a new procedure called renal artery denervation. Still regarded as investigational, and used only for people whose BP remains uncontrolled on 3-5 medications.
