A couple days: Most blood pressure medications take about 2 days to have most of their effect, although every patient is different. After a week, all blood pressure medications have reached their maximum effect.

Soon: Most times a good response can be achived in 1 week if the correct medicnes are for the patient. Some patients will need more than one medicines and many trials and doctor visits.
