Birth Injury: Birth injury pertains to problems associated with the birth, to the baby. These include, shoulder dystocia (should gets stuck), unable to pass through the birth canal requiring c-section emergently, fracture of one of the baby's bones (clavilcle is most common), all of these which may indicate decrease oxygen prior to delivery and lead to hie (hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy).
