Not this long: Your cholestasis of pregnancy should be long gone by now. You should see your obgyn to have labs drawn again and if they are still abnormal, please see a gastroenterologist for further evaluation of liver and gallbladder function.

Cholestasis: It's actually more of a gallbladder issue and typically resolves within a few weeks of childbirth. It may be time to see a general surgeon for an evaluation. Gallbladder issues like cholestasis and gallstone (cholelithiasis), lead to elevations in bilirubin and elevation of your liver functions.
