What do you suggest to be patient with a brain injury person.?

Dr. Joseph Accurso answered

Specializes in Radiology

Whatever it takes: People need to deal with traumatic brain injury patients in whatever way "works", depending on what behavior changes have occurred, what skills have been lost, and possible emotional changes. Patience is the word - remember, the patient may be working extremely hard to say or do something they once did not even think about. Talk with their doctors about how to help, and talk out to support sites.
