Recently bloodwork showed my triglycerides to be 154 despite very good cholesterol numbers. is this at all worrisome?

Almost normal: Nothing to worry about right now. Normal upper limit is 150 and i don't normally worry unless they are above 300. Given they are borderline, you may want to watch your weight, increase exercise and get them rechecked in a year to make sure they stay controlled. Hope this helps.
