Orthostasis: Orthostatic hypotension is when you go from lying down to standing too rapidly and a sensor in your carotid artery(neck) can't send blood fast enough to your head and whoops-dizziness. Try slowing down by going from lying to sitting for a few seconds, and then standing before walking. If that fails, see a md to find out why.
