Quite good. : Last year, in the U.S., the lifetime risk of prostate cancer was 16.72%, but the risk of death is much lower, at 2.57%. An individual's risk and cancer specific survival can be very difficult to predict. But in general, prostate cancer tends to progress slowly compared to other cancers, and we have many effective treatments for localized, advanced, and metastatic cancer to keep it at bay.

PCa survival: In the us the 5 year survival for clinically localized prostate cancer is: 100% nobody will die in the first 5 years in the localized stage. Even with no treatment ! 90% of pts get treated any many never know this # !
