Infection: Body lice is an infection which is rare at this time. These are larger lice which are visible and can live on clothing.The clothing needs to e discarded and the body treated with a scabicide such as elimite, (permethrin) quell. Applications may need to be repeated and all eggs need to be removed from hair bearing areas.All contacts need to be examined and bedding and furniture need to be examined.
