A member asked:

What is the probability that i got my uti from having my period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Zero.: Menstruation does not cause uti. If it did, there would be a known pattern of more women having utis while on their period than when not menstruating, which is not the case. Also, postmenopausal women tend to have utis more frequently than younger women.
