Why is it that doctors can't find a permanent cure for acid reflux?

There are Cures: There are surgical therapies done by some surgeons and gastroenterologists..Aprocedure called fundoplication, it creates an artificial valve using the top of your stomach.This procedure is done as last resort for treatment of acid reflux and has limited success in my opinion depending on who does it.

36yrs old. Gallbladder removed. Then EDG for continued pain. Doc found gastritis and also dilated my esophagus. I'd never had issues swallowing. After I started having acid reflux. Has continued for 3 months. Will it go away or is this permanent now?
