What are the chances of surviving cirrhosis of the liver without a transplant?

See below: Cirrhosis is a disease that progreses with time if the cause of the cirrrhosis is known then that needs to be treated or else the casue -alcohol -needs to stop. If such happens then longevity can be achieved buut if there are signs of advanceing cirrhosis-a swollen abdomenofr massive bleeding from esophageal varices-then a transplant is the only hope for long life.
