Yes: Yes you can take antibiotics with over the counter cold medicines. But, if you only have a cold, antibiotics will do nothing to help and you could experience toxicities and side effects from antibiotic treatment. It will also alter your bowel flora to varing degrees depending on the antibiotic type and duration.
