A member asked:

What can my carers do when i have a seizure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

First aide: Care should include having the person down on their side, on the floor and away from furniture with sharp edges. /this prevents accidental fall from furniture. If the jaws are open, sweep the mouth to clear anything that might be aspirated. Put something soft between the teeth. Do not try to wedge the mouth open. Protect the head brom hitting hard objects. After a few minutes call 911.
