A member asked:

Would it be possible to have a rash on the legs and arms from dryer sheets?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sure is: That is called a contact dermatitis. There are a number of chemicals on dryer sheets that leaves a residue on your clothes that your skin can react to. These include, but not limited to, fragrances and anti-static chemicals. Unlike softener used in the wash, these are not rinsed off anywhere and remain on the clothing coming out of the dryer. People with skin conditions like eczema, prone to it.
