A member asked:

Help please. when i run my heart rate goes really fast, is there something wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends how fast: This depends how fast your heart is going. The target heart rate (thr) is usually 50-75 % of the maximum heart rate for an individual. Ideally you get the maximum benefit when you stay with in the thr but going over for a few minutes is not a big problem. If your heart rate is more than 100% of the maximum heart rate for a long duration you should have this evaluated.
