What will happen if i go to the hospital for suicidal thoughts and severe depression?

Treatment: You will receive intensive treatment, both medication and psychotherapy. A good idea.

Treatment starts: Usually you'll stay 3 or more days. Medication will be started (or changed if you already take some), & you'll have individual & group therapy, & other activities. A social worker may connect you with social service agencies if you need it, a dietician may stop by, and there may be a little job counseling. They'll set up office treatment for you after you go, when you feel safe and non-suicidal.
