Had spirometry test today and it came out moderately severe obstruction. what does it mean? is it bad?

PFT: Ask them if they perform a separate test after you inhale a bronchodilator that helps open your airways. Do you smoke? It could mean you have copd (emphysema and /or chronic bronchitis., asthma, reactive airways disease (similar to asthma) or more rare conditions.
