Need to be checked: You are 45 and you are having chest pains i will suggest you do not waste time and see your medical doctor asap it could be your heart and you should not take chances.Heart disese need to be ruled out.The other possibilities are chest wall pain, esophageal reflux or related to your lungs or pleura.You need a detailed history and physical exam, an ekg and other tests may or may not be indicated.
