I went to the doctors and i told them my huge problems with my hip and they did a x-ray and said that i have bursitits . i'm only 16 how could this be?

It happens: Bursitis is not age specific. Anyone could have it. Hip pain (in general) is divided into three areas: 1) pain at the side - bursitis 2) pain in your groin - arthritis or at your age a cartilage tear 3) back pocket pain - can be nerve related i would do some therapy for stretching, etc. If it doesn't get better and you are not seeting an ortho specialist - go see a hip ortho doctor.
