What to do if i know sunscreen is a must, what else can be done to protect your body from skin cancer?

NO to tanning bed: Even with sunscreen, it is still important to limit your skin to the total amount of sun exposure. Also wear wide brim hat, long sleeve shirt when out in the sun. And say no to tanning beds.

Shirt and hat: Use a hat at all times and long sleeves/pants - some clothes have sunscreen protection built into them.

Sun protection: Solumbra and coolibar are 2 brands that offer a wide selection of sun-protective clothing. Both offer greater than 30 SPF protection. Check their websites with google or bing.

Appropriate clothing: Good hats, long sleeve shirts, pants, etc will all help protect from sun damage. Many good brands are available including coolibar, solumbra, columbia, etc. If you have any concerns, see a dermatologist for full body examination and biopsies if needed.
