Heart and Stress: Cardiomyopathy is not caused by stress. But stress could make the symptoms of a cardiomyopathy increase. A heart block is a disorder found in the conduction system of the heart. This can be due to atherosclerotic disease or due to disease within the conduction system or may be related to medication or drugs. I would see the doctor to get the right diagnosis and treatment.
