Possibly: Don't worry so much about lowering your lh level, but rather ovulation. Metformin can help in women especially if they're overweight. (or have elevated Insulin levels). Most will ultimately need ovulation induction meds.

PCOS and pregnancy: Some patients with pcos do have a higher chance of miscarriages, especially with higher lh levels. Still, with treatment, you have a very good chance of having the family you want. Although metformin may help, it would be better to use this in combination with another medication to help you ovulate. Clomid (clomiphene) or Femara are oral medications that you can try initially.
