Ovulation test: Vaginal discharge is not an accurate predictor of ovulation. Regular periods could indicate ovulation. If a home ovulation test was negative then most likely you did not ovulate. A midluteal phase Progesterone blood test is the most accurate way to determine if ovulation occured.
