I've had an abscess before from iving. i missed a shot today, i was prescribed doxycycline which i took. what else can i do before seeing a doctor?

Warm compresses: You could put warm compresses on the area where you "missed a shot" and have the lump that you described in a previous question. You could also seriously consider stopping your IV drug use -- which you told us earlier is meth. We suggested that you not wait to get medical attention for what you described. If a doctor prescribed you doxycyline for this, you already have a doctor to see.
