I had a laryngoscopy and esophoscopy with biopsy 4 days ago and still don't have my voice back. is this normal and when will my voice come back?

Dr. David Kam answered

Hoarseness: If the biopsy was done on your vocal cords, you'll be hoarse for a few weeks. Intubation for any surgery can cause hoarseness especially when it was difficult due to anatomical reasons. Check with your ENT doctor and he/she should be able to answer your questions.
