Throat pain: Laryngoscopy is a procedure where a tube is placed in your throat. There is mild trauma to the tissue and there is a healing period after the procedure. It is likely you will have soreness for days to weeks. If you have difficulty swallowing or develop significant pain that over the counter pain relievers do not help with, you should call the provider to discuss.
