Have crackle sound in throat when i swallow salaiva. 3 ent laryngoscopy & ba swallow test says i have gerd. so shud i worried or is it normal in gerd?

Treatment: Crackling sounds in the throat, in my opinion, are very rare with LPR or high GERD. I would not worry but if GERD is a possible reason, then make sure you have proper medical treatment for GERD.

Normal findings: It is called thyrovertebral crepitus,a normal finding,if there loss of this,with per stand sore throat,difficulty swallowing or hoarseness,that would warrant ent evaluation soon.You have normal presentation ,gerd out of consideration,and should not loose sleep over it.consider to stop smoking.
