Solid athletic shoes: Do not go barefoot or flip-flops, ever. Soak in warm water with hand-soap daily. Apply an antifungal cream 2x/day for 2 weeks. Then a moisture cream that has urea in it. Put this on at night before sleep and wrap Saran wrap around your heels. Hold this in place with a sock. You may use a pumice stone to reduce any callus. You may consider the Saran with the antifungal cream also.

Craked heels: Use some cream with urea in it. Avoid moist shoes and avoid barefoot walking. Best to see a podiatrist who can write a rx for what you need. Cracked heels especially on diabetics can be dangerous.
