Depends: Can happen within an hour or two. Not all ulcers are created the same. Some ulcers erode into minor blood vessels other erode into major arteries and the bleeding can vary accordingly.

Had upper GI scope. Finding non bleeding duodenum ulcer. Stomach was tested for h pylori - negative. Duodenum wasnt tested. Can HP only infect duodenum? Should duodenum also be tested for HP? I dont take meds that cause ulcers - have severe stress?
