Never: Formula is balanced nutrition & adding cereals to the bottle does not make kids grow better or sleep better. About 6 mo the kid is able to sit up & participate in a feeding, & cereals can be a good first food to teach baby how to manipulate solids with their tongue. This prepares baby for table foods. Early infant feeds were common in the 50's & 60's when moms made their own formula. It is outdated.
