Maybe: The use of alumentus suggests there is concern for possible intolerance to some of the protein sources in the earlier feeds. Rice cereal will have a foreign protein source and may be a problem. The amount is somewhat arbitrary.When using cereal many add a teaspoon/4 oz.You could get a similar effect by adding some alumentum powder (same amount) and not have a new protein.The idea is to thicken fds.
