Bad habits: A baby should be taught to eat waking up, and never when going to bed. Cereal in the bottle has never produced a proven benefit on university study. If you teach a baby to include eating as a bedtime ritual, expect 4X the number of sleep issues than those without.

NEVER: Never put a baby to sleep with anything in a bottle other than water. Milk sugars combined with oral bacteria can cause baby teeth to rot. Talk to your Pediatrician about "Baby Bottle Syndrome," or Google it. This can be extremely dangerous. Even if baby teeth have not begun as yet to erupt, not a good idea to develop this very bad habit. Also, see Pediatric Dental Specialist beginning @ Age1
