Discuss w/doctor: Seroxat is a brand name for paroxetine, an ssri like lexapro (escitalopram). I would not advise 2 ssri's at same time. But since we on healthtap do not know your history or results with previous medications, we cannot recommend specific drugs for you. However, your own psychiatrist does know these things about you, and would be the best person to ask about any medication changes or additions.

As above: I agree with other physicians taking two ssri medication , can put u at risk for serotonergic syndrome , and is not advisable, if u still depressed or anxious talk with u prescriber and he/she will adjust u medication.
