A member asked:

In the digestive system, is it possible for a person to digest food without a stomach?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The small and lower intestines are responsible for the absorption of many of the nutrient's in food. The stomach does help break down food and store food until the intestines are read to take more food in.
