Black eye!: Black eyes comes from a broken blood vessel. The causes are many, from trauma, thin blood (aspirin, ibuprofen, coumadin, (warfarin) ...) to other systemic causes such as liver dysfunction and lymphomas. At age 27, it is very unusual and you should see an internist with a good systemic work-up.
