Prozac, (fluoxetine) Methadone: Both Methadone and Prozac can prolong the qtc, a specific measure of your heart rhythm seen on ekg. It does not happen in everyone, which may be why your doctor and the pharmacist were not concerned. However, it can be a significant interaction in some. Zoloft, (sertraline) another antidepressant, is not known to do this and may be safer in your case.
