Should be: Niacin is metabolized in the liver. So is Prozac (fluoxetine) and doses adusted and monitered. The Niacin can cause gout and colchcine is used to treat this. Colchacine is metabolized and excreted thru the kidneys. If your doctor and you follow up regularly and labs ekg etc done you should be ok.

Possibly: There is potential for increased amount of Colchicine in the body due to the prozac (fluoxetine). This can lead to adverse effects like muscle breakdown. It is best to consult your doctor to make sure. While it is not absolutely incompatible it should be done with caution and under a doctors orders.
