Gyn doctor check it: Strings can break off , or iud may migrate , or rarely get embedded into uterus , see your gyn doctor to make sure every thing is o k.

Office visit : It is not uncommon for your husband to be unable to feel the string, can you feel the string?If the string is not palpable i would suggest an office visit to ascertain the location of the iud.
