Monday- had a headache and thought i had a fever. tuesday- felt better but neck was very stiff wednesday- neck is still very stiff. is this meningitis?

Given the timing of symptoms and the fact you are not confused, suggests you have a non-bacterial (aka aseptic) meningitis. A lumbar puncture is needed to confirm the diagnosis. If you had the dreaded Meningococcal meningitis, you would have been dead a day ago.
