Knee Cartilage: Oats (osteochondral autograft transfer system) and/or mosaicplasty are also options for chondral defects or "pot holes" in knee cartilage. There are a number of cartilage restoration options available as well. Discuss these with the orthopedic surgeon before electing to proceed with operative intervention.
