A member asked:

Can chest wall pain refer to the jaw? i often get jaw/chin pain when my chest hurts due (presumably) to overbreathing. docs have said my heart is okay but all i find for jaw pain is heart stuff.

Not likely: True heart(cardiac) pain radiates to the jaw but not pain from the chest wal. That pain is usually from inflammation and unless you hit both your jaw and chest i know of no connection

As above: From u description, it sounds like u have a panic attack. U may benefit from seeing a therapist to help u deal with it.

Jaw pain can: Result from many factors. Best to be evaluated by a dentist to check TMJ / malocclusion / clenching / grinding / ... Given that your physician has cleared you from anything cardiac.
