It is...: It is, for anyone in her 60's, time to see the doctor, or the ER if chest tightness is more than slight. If slight, a call to one's doctor may be the first step. Chest tightness isn't normal. The ER is always a good option at this age. Possible reasons for symptoms include lung or heart disease, fluid or irritation of linings of lungs or heart, acid reflux, asthma, anxiety, costochondritis, etc...
